Finding The Path To Freedom And Success As A Millennial Business Woman With BossBabe

everywhere! at home, at work, in the garden, in the beach. just not in the park, I swear.

YOU CAN FIND ME:

get up. get ready. get coffee. get to work. get moving (with a purpose). get food. get back to work. get back home. get to bed. done!

DAILY ROUTINE:

... I'm not about a lot of things either, it just depends - really - once you get to know me.

I'M NOT ABOUT:

a lot of things - but most importantly so, I believe in the power of outreach and positivity.

Seeing more women make it as successful entrepreneurs and bosses is always an uplifting sight, especially to other women who are striving for the same. At Boss Babe, passion and inspiration for these kinds of things run high all the time.

While currently run by two of today’s strongest and most inspiring women, Natalie Ellis and Danielle Canty, BossBabe was actually originally founded by Alex Wolf, a motivating social media influencer whose mission was to create a safe space for women online to be themselves, ambitions and all. Wolf founded BossBabes at 22, but sold the company at 25 to become a speaker and a consultant at Creative Business School.

Today, Dr. Danielle Canty serves as BossBabe’s President and co-founder while entrepreneur Natalie Ellis heads the company as co-founder and CEO. The best-friends-turned-business-partners duo did a Q and A session on BossBabe’s Youtube channel to give subscribers a bit of a sneak peek into their life as mentors and business women.

Looking at Danielle, you’d think she’s someone who’s fresh out of college and still trying to figure life out. This amazing powerhouse of a woman, however, is actually a chiropractor by training and a serial entrepreneur by passion. She has helped scale up the business from start-up to a multi-million dollar empire.

Natalie, on the other hand, has always been about being a BossBabe. She is a self-made business woman with a strong social media following which she uses to grow the brand and to fulfill her advocacy in helping women become the version of themselves that they’ve always envisioned themselves to be.

These two women produce and host The BossBabe Podcast, an online audio show where they share tips, ideas, and encouragement to their followers. If anyone understands the hardships of building a business from the ground up, it’s them. They may not have started BossBabe per se, but it was the duo who turned the brand into what it is today.

Now, for those of you who might still be unfamiliar, BossBabe is an online educational media company that aims to help women become their best selves. BossBabe offers a monthly subscription service for women dreaming of crushing debts, becoming their own bosses, and being financially free by providing them with uniquely curated content filled with tips and tricks on building a business from scratch. The community also provides its members access to valuable contacts in the industry and allows them to give and receive moral support from fellow business-minded ladies.

It’s ironic, but true: more than anything, moral support is the hardest to come by when you’re doing something that people around you didn’t expect you to do. They think you’re better off holding on to your job so they discourage you from starting your own business. They’ll express their concerns over you possibly losing everything you’ve saved up (and more), losing time for yourself and not being able to handle the pressure of it all. And while these are all definitely nice and valid, it would be nice to get a little more “you can do it” and less “can you do it?”

This is perhaps why BossBabe is booming. It’s a safe, judgement-free zone that’s overflowing with encouragement and cheer for the women who wish to escape their 9-to-5 and, instead, create a business for themselves that will give them more time, fulfillment, and income. It’s where you can be ambitious without worrying about others thinking you’re too full of yourself.

hey there!

My name is Mari, I'm so glad you're here.

I created this platform in the hopes of creating a community focused on amplifying voices and stories of women and how we can empower each other to be the best versions of ourselves.
